About Courtney

Hailing from the state of Mississippi, where many great American authors, playwrights, and journalists have originated, Courtney fell in love with the art of writing at 14 years old. Since then, she's been writing everyday; fiction and nonfiction alike. 

In 2018, Courtney graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Communication (Public Relations), while minoring in Writing. A year later, she move to Oklahoma City, where she's worked in Software Development Quality for the past six years. 

Courtney's writing, often done in addition to her full time professional schedule, spans from scripts and radio copy, to blog articles and creative non-fiction. Her experiences are vast, having spent time in the non-profit sector, in political advocacy, and most recently in the software development process.

There is no subject area or form of communication that she's afraid to take on, and she's always ready to take on her next adventure!
